Why I am no longer "Pro-Choice"
I used to be "Pro-Choice." I used to be a feminist. Not any more. Why? A few years ago (while in law school actually) I learned to think and to reason. I learned to use my God-given brain and ask questions and search for truth. I stopped blindly following everyone else's agenda. Truth? Yes, truth. You see, I used to buy into the post-modern definition of truth, that truth is relative-- Your truth is true for you but my truth is true for me . But I wanted to know. If there was an objective "truth" to be found, then I wanted to find it. I found it. Jesus said, "... for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."(John 18:37) And "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) If we seek Him, we will find Him. (Rev. 3:20) Jesus is the Truth . So what does Jesus have to do with the abortion ...
